Frankfurt East station takes care of railway services in the suburb of Ostend in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Its container terminal is recognized as on the left out freight yards in the city when the much larger Frankfurt central freight yard in Hauptgüterbahnhof was closed down. The US rolling stock was parked in the station sidings when not in traffic.

For the Freight traffic after the closure of the central Frankfurt freight yard, the Frankfurt East station became a center of Freight handling in Frankfurt. The freight yard was expanded from about 2003 to be capacity of a container terminal. A large exponential area to the East station was further redeveloped into a storage space for containers and transport vehicles as along with arrival and departure routes to the road network. In coming years the North Main S-Bahn is on the cards to be constructed from Frankfurt East station to Hanau next to the present Frankfurt–Hanau line.

The birth of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is credited to the 9th century and by a free letter by Emperor Louis the German to keep the free trade fairs. The Alois Kottmann Award is an international prize that is given to a person for making the best performances in playing the classical cantando violin. In competition, there musical pieces are needed to be performed that are needed to be published well in advance and keeps on changing, annually.
